Total Vacancies Revised Across Indian Railways
Railway Recruitment Boards published CEN No.02/2026 on 30.06.2026 for 323 vacancies in Technician Gr. I Signal and 6234 vacancies in Technician Gr.III all over Indian Railways. Total Technician Grade-III vacancies stand revised from 6234 to 7002. Combined with 323 Technician Gr. I posts, total vacancies stand enhanced to 7325 posts.

Review of Additional Demand from Zonal Railways
Subsequently, a review has been undertaken based on additional demand of vacancies received from some Zonal Railways for the post of Technician Grade-III. Vacancies are enhanced for Technician Grade-III Welder(OL) in Category 15, Technician Grade-III Carriage & Wagon in Category 5, and Technician Grade-III Fitter(OL) in Category 12. Due to enhancement of vacancies shown above, total vacancies of the concerned RRBs stand modified. Vacancies of other RRBs will remain unchanged. All other terms & conditions of the CEN No.02/2026 will remain unchanged.
