Job role
The post is about regulatory compliance. The notice lists these duties: ensuring compliance with the regulations laid down by PESO, monitoring statutory and regulatory compliance as per PESO guidelines, liaison with regulatory authorities, and ensuring adherence to prescribed safety standards. Training, internship and apprenticeship periods are not counted as experience. The notice also says no claim of an equivalent qualification will be entertained, so only the qualification as prescribed counts.

The fee is paid online by internet banking, credit card or debit card. No other mode is accepted. The fee is not refunded under any circumstances. If the advertisement is cancelled for administrative reasons, the fee paid will be refunded.
Selection process
For the E0 grade, selection is by Skill Test alone. It carries 100 marks and a candidate needs at least 60 marks to qualify. The test is qualifying in nature and is held on a suitable earliest date. Call letters go by SMS and/or email. The notice advises keeping your email ID active for at least one year.
If candidates score equal marks, the notice breaks the tie in this order: percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, highest percentage in the SSC examination, then the older candidate. A waiting list is made at a ratio of 1:2, and it is valid for one year.
Outstation candidates are reimbursed to and fro III tier AC train or bus fare for the Skill Test. For this you must give valid bank details with account number, IFSC code, MICR code and PAN number in the form.
