ST candidates get a relaxation of up to 5 years on the posts where the notice states it. Staff currently working under the Society get an age relaxation of up to 50 years on the posts that carry that clause.
Selection process and interview
The notice says an interview will be conducted for all posts. The shortlisted candidates will be notified at wcd.mizoram.gov.in, and the date of the interview will be notified later on the website.

Points to check before applying
- The last date is 19 November 2026.
- Every post asks for knowledge of the Mizo language up to Middle School standard. Several posts, including Case Worker, Nurse and Paramedical Staff, also ask for computer proficiency with CCC or DCA 1st Semester.
- Each route for the Special Educator/ Therapist post needs a valid RCI CRR number: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Rehabilitation Psychology, or a Bachelors' degree in Occupational Therapy, Physio Therapy or Speech Therapy, or a Diploma in Special Education (IDD/MD/VI/HI) or above.
- The 23 Nurse posts are for women only.
- House Mother and House Father candidates should be able to stay in the Child Care Institutions 24x7.
- Preference goes to candidates from the district of the post. Staff who have worked under the Society for more than 5 years are also preferred on the posts that carry that clause.
- The engagement is for one year, extendable yearly, and co-terminus with the Mission Vatsalya Scheme.
