Qualification and experience
- Junior Engineer: Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with 2 years' experience, or Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with 5 years' experience. Knowledge of Building Information Modelling and related software is desirable.
- Physical Training Instructor: Graduate with BPEd with 3 years of experience.
- Junior Assistant: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute, with knowledge of computer applications and office applications like Word and Excel.
- Junior Technician: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Diploma in Engineering, or ITI with 2 years of experience, in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent.

Reservation
The post-wise reservation is in the table above. SC and ST candidates attach a certificate from Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tahsildar in the form at Annexure II (A). An OBC certificate issued on or after April 01, 2026 is considered for reservation under the OBC-NCL category, in the proforma at Annexure II (B). An EWS certificate issued on or after April 01, 2026 is considered under the EWS category. A PwD certificate is rejected if the disability is less than 40%.
Selection process and interview
All eligible candidates have to appear for a Written Test and/ or Interview. Selection among shortlisted candidates is based on performance in the interview. The institute may also hold an objective/ skill test/ presentation before the interview for further shortlisting. No TA/ DA is paid for attending. Candidates should come prepared for a minimum of two days' stay for the selection process. Call letters are sent to the registered e-mail ID and can be downloaded from the recruitment portal.

For CGPA results, the conversion is CGPA (10-point scale) x 10 = percentage of marks when the institute gives no formula.
