U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), the ISRO centre in Bengaluru, has issued Advt. No. URSC:04:2026 for Technician-B, Light Vehicle Driver-A, Staff Car Driver-A and Heavy Vehicle Driver-A posts. Pay is Rs 21,700 a month for Technician-B and Rs 19,900 for the driver posts, plus allowances. Selection is by screening, a written test and a skill test. Apply online from 24 October 2026 to 13 November 2026.
This advertisement covers Technician-B under post codes 01 to 08 (twelve ITI trades) and three driver posts under post codes 09 to 11. Every post asks for a Matriculation pass. The trade posts also need an ITI, NTC or NAC from NCVT, and the driver posts need years of driving experience. Each applicant first pays Rs 500. Candidates who appear in the written test get Rs 400 back, and women, SC/ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates who appear get the full Rs 500 back. Holding the minimum qualification does not automatically make a candidate eligible to be called for the written test: URSC first screens the online applications and calls only the screened-in candidates.
