Ludhiana District Courts Lift Operator Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 6 Posts

Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana has issued Employment Notice No. 3 of 2026 inviting offline applications for 6 posts of Lift Operator at Ludhiana Headquarters on contract basis. Remuneration is payable at the rates fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana for the financial year 2026-27. Candidates possessing Matriculation with Punjabi and an ITI trade certificate in Mechanical or Electrical can apply by 12 October 2026.

Vacancies and Category Reservation Roster

The allocation of the 6 contractual Lift Operator posts follows the reservation roster below:

If no suitable candidate from a reserved category is available, appointment shall be made from the general category. General candidates may also apply accordingly. Their candidature shall be considered only in the event that no applications are received from the advertised reserved category, or such candidates are found ineligible or unqualified for the advertised posts. The number of vacancies shown above is tentative and may be increased or decreased due to administrative exigencies. The office reserves the right to prepare a merit list or waiting list.

Eligibility and Educational Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy the prescribed criteria:

• Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent with Punjabi passed as one subject.
• ITI Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical from a Government Institute or its equivalent.

Before applying for the abovesaid post, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The recruitment committee reserves the right to reject applications not fulfilling the requisite criteria at any stage of recruitment, and if erroneously appointed, candidates shall be removed from service besides further action as per law.

Selection Criteria and Interview Schedule

Selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of interview:

• The interview will be conducted tentatively on 16 October 2026 at 10:00 AM at Judicial Courts Complex, Ludhiana.
• No separate individual intimation will be dispatched. Candidates must monitor ludhiana.dcourts.gov.in for updates.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.
• The scheduled interview can be postponed or cancelled without prior notice. In that case, the altered schedule will be displayed on the notice board and website.

How to Apply Offline

Candidates must submit applications on the prescribed proforma by following these steps:

1. Download the proforma from Employment Notice No. 3 of 2026 on ludhiana.dcourts.gov.in.
2. Fill up the form legibly in capital letters with complete particulars. Application forms with incomplete information will be summarily rejected without correspondence.
3. Paste one passport size photograph on the top right side and attach one spare photo.
4. Attach attested copies of qualification, birth, Punjabi pass proof, ITI certificate, and category documents.
5. Super-scribe the envelope: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LIFT OPERATOR ON CONTRACT BASIS-2026".
