The Bank reserves the right to modify, increase or decrease the number of Guest Players and the role-wise requirement depending on its needs.
Eligibility
Age must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 30 years as on the date of the advertisement. Educational qualification is a minimum of 10th Standard pass from a recognised Board. Only Indian citizens are eligible. On sports qualification, applicants must be local club level players who have represented a State/UT or the country at a National or International competition, or won a medal in Junior National Championships, Khelo India Youth Games (above 18 years), Khelo India Winter Games, Khelo India University Games, or the School Games Federation of India, in the sport concerned; or have represented their University in Inter-University Tournaments; or have represented a State/UT School Team in National Sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation.
Selection process
Selection comprises scrutiny and shortlisting of applications against the eligibility criteria, followed by Field Trials of eligible applicants at a designated venue in Mumbai, at the candidate's own cost. Marks are awarded out of a grand total of 100: 20 for age, 15 for representing a State/UT at national level, 15 for representing the nation at international level, 20 for Field Trials physical fitness and endurance, 20 for Field Trials sport-specific skills, and 10 for Field Trials behavioural attributes. The minimum qualifying marks are 50 out of 100 (50%), and the merit list is prepared in descending order of marks up to the number of vacancies.

Applicants must send the duly filled and signed application in the prescribed format (Annexure A), along with scanned copies of the requisite documents and certificates, by email only to Pradeep.suroshe@bankofbaroda.co.in. The subject line must clearly state: "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT AS GUEST PLAYER ON RETAINERSHIP BASIS - MUMBAI [CRICKET / TABLE TENNIS (MEN) / TABLE TENNIS (WOMEN)] TEAM". Applications received through any mode other than email will not be accepted, and incomplete applications or those received after the last date are liable to be rejected.
