Eligibility
TGT (General Science): Graduate in General Science with at least 50% marks in Chemistry, Botany or Zoology, or a four-year integrated degree from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate including the B.Ed component, plus B.Ed or an equivalent degree and CTET/STET qualified.
TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit): Graduate in Hindi and Sanskrit with at least 50% marks, or the equivalent four-year integrated degree, plus B.Ed or equivalent and CTET/STET qualified.
TGT (Maths): Graduate with at least 50% marks in Mathematics with subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science or Statistics, or the equivalent four-year integrated degree, plus B.Ed or equivalent and CTET/STET qualified.
TGT (English): Graduate with at least 50% marks in English, or the equivalent four-year integrated degree, plus B.Ed or equivalent and CTET/STET qualified. For all TGT posts, preference goes to candidates with higher qualifications, teaching experience in English medium public schools (especially Sainik Schools), proficiency in spoken English, ICT applications, games and co-curricular activities.
Horse Riding Instructor: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised school, and must have undergone a Horse Riding Instructor Course.
Band Master: Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major course at the AEC Training College and Centre Pachmarhi, or an equivalent Naval/Air Force course.
Mess Manager: Matriculation or equivalent, at least 5 years' experience running a catering organisation independently in civil life, Defence Services or a similar organisation, ability to maintain mess accounts, and knowledge of computer applications.
Nursing Sister (Female): Nursing Diploma, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, or B.Sc Nursing, with 5 years' experience including at least 5 years of service after training.
Ward Boys: Must have passed Matriculation, with good communication skills, preferably in English, and should be physically fit.
Age for all posts is reckoned as on 31 October 2026: 21-35 years for TGT posts, 18-50 years for Horse Riding Instructor, Mess Manager, Nursing Sister and Ward Boys, and 21-50 years for Band Master.
Selection process
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written, practical and interview as applicable. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the written and practical exam or the interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be made available on the school website, and shortlisted candidates will also be informed through email and post.
