Other conditions in the notice:
- Only women can apply, and the applicant must be local. In a town she must live in the ward concerned; in a village, in the gram panchayat concerned.
- Under the SC/ST sub plan, a post allotted to an SC habitation is open only to SC women of that gram panchayat (SC Earmark).
- A post allotted to an ST habitation is open only to ST women of that hamlet or habitation (ST Earmark).
- Eligible women from SC groups other than the one named for a post may also apply online.
Age limit
Applicants must be at least 18 and not more than 35 years old on 1 July 2026. The press note does not mention any age relaxation.

Forms handed to the DWO or CDPO office, given at Prajavani, sent by post or sent by e-mail will not be considered. Only what is uploaded online counts.

Reservation for SC groups
Posts are reserved for SC Group-I, Group-II and Group-III. Under G.O.Ms. No.10 of the Scheduled Castes Development (POA.A2) Department, dated 14 April 2025, a reserved post can go to an eligible woman of the next SC group if no eligible candidate from the named group is available.
Points to check before applying
- Age is counted on 1 July 2026, not on the day you apply.
- The Tahsildar residence certificate must be recent: issued within one year before the notification. An older one may not be accepted.
- The portal closes at 5 PM on 23 October 2026, so do not leave the upload for the evening.
- Interview marks are only 10 of the total, so your Intermediate / 12th marks decide most of the merit.
- The District Collector, as chairman of the district Anganwadi recruitment committee, can cancel or change this notification.
