Candidates who cleared the MPESB Jail Prahari and Assistant Jail Superintendent written exam 2026 now have their second stage dates. The Jail Headquarters, Bhopal has issued the physical measurement, physical proficiency test (PET) and document verification schedule. The PET runs from 7 October 2026 to 18 October 2026 at the International Sports Complex, Neelbad, Bhopal, from 7 AM to 2 PM each day. All 256 candidates declared eligible for the Assistant Jail Superintendent post attend on a single day.

Jail Prahari PET schedule by application number

Prahari candidates are split into 11 batches by application number. Find the range that holds your application number and report on that day only.

Jail Prahari physical standards

Height: male candidates need 165 cm and female candidates need 158 cm. Male candidates need a chest of 83 cm without expansion. No chest measurement is asked of women.

If you do not qualify in the run, you are not allowed to take the shot put. You get at most 3 chances to qualify in the shot put.

Assistant Jail Superintendent physical standards

Height: male candidates need 168 cm and female candidates need 155 cm. Male candidates need a chest of 84 cm unexpanded and 89 cm expanded. No chest measurement is asked of women.

You get at most 3 chances each for the long jump and the shot put.

How the PET is judged

• The physical proficiency test is qualifying only. No marks are given or counted.
• The whole test is video recorded.
• Every candidate goes through biometric verification based on the Aadhaar card number.
• Reserved category candidates get travel reimbursement paid directly into their bank account by e-payment, so carry your bank account details.
• Do not come with a tattoo, mehndi or any other substance on your hands.

Documents to carry on PET day

• This notice (the information letter) itself.
• One photo ID: driving licence, voter ID card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport or bank passbook. If you have no government ID, your latest school or college ID card is accepted.
• The result and admit card uploaded by MPESB, along with your original documents.
• Two sets of photocopies of all original documents.
• Two photographs.
