Only women can apply for the caretaker posts; the cook and helper posts are open to men and women. For cooks, the university prefers people who can cook North Indian and South Indian food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Knowledge of Urdu is listed for every post, and the general instructions say Urdu speakers will be preferred, so carry any proof you have, such as a marksheet showing Urdu as a subject.
Contract terms
All three posts are based in the MANUU hostels at the Gachibowli campus. The first contract is for 89 days and can be extended depending on your performance and the university's needs. Pay is a fixed consolidated amount. The university can choose not to fill the posts or cancel the walk-in without giving a reason.
Walk-in date and schedule
- Reach the University Guest House, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad by 9:30 AM on 7 October 2026 and register your name. Anyone who comes after the registration time is turned away.
- Hand in the filled registration form (it is the last page of the notice) with the documents listed below.
- The interview starts at 10:00 AM.
No travel or daily allowance is paid for attending, and canvassing of any kind disqualifies you.
Registration form and category details
The form asks for the post applied for, your name in capital letters, father's name, date of birth and age, category (UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWD or ex-serviceman), educational and technical qualifications, experience with proof, whether you know Urdu and the proof of it, address, phone number and email. It also asks for the names, addresses and phone numbers of two responsible people, not related to you, who can be contacted about you. The general instructions ask for their email IDs too, because the references are used to check your work experience. The notice does not reserve posts by category, but you must state your category and bring a caste certificate if you have one. You sign a declaration that the details are true; false details can cancel the engagement at any stage.
