Eligibility
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/DNB/PG Diploma. If such candidates are not available, MBBS with 3 years experience in the relevant field may be considered.
Candidates should have a valid DMC registration certificate at the time of interview, or should have applied for DMC with proper acknowledgement and submit the same at the time of interview.
Upper age limit is 45 years as on the interview date, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Pay
Rs. 67,700/- + NPA in pay level 11, and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Tenure
Initial appointment is for 44 days, extendable for a further 44 days (with one day break) on written request recommended by the concerned HOD, or till appointment is done through the Central Appointment Committee, whichever is earlier. Maximum tenure of the Senior Resident post is 3 years, including any previous tenure served in a Government Hospital, Institute or Organisation. Senior Residents who have already completed 3 years tenure may apply under relaxed criteria, admissible for one year on ad-hoc basis, with a separate merit list prepared for such candidates.
Selection process
Selection will be on the basis of Interview. Interviews are held on 30.09.2026 and 01.10.2026 at GTB Hospital, Delhi, as per the department-wise schedule above.

Fill the online Google form at the link given in the notice, in capital letters. The link will be de-activated on 29.09.2026 at 11:30 a.m. Download and print the submitted Google application form from your email, paste one passport size photo on the first page, attach the Demand Draft (if applicable) and other supporting documents, sign all documents, and submit the duly filled application before the interview board on the day of interview at the time of attendance.
Applicants must report at the Skill Lab, 3rd Floor, Administration Block, GTB Hospital, Delhi at 09:30 A.M. or 01:30 PM as scheduled for their department, on the date of interview, to mark attendance and submit self-attested photocopies of testimonials and certificates. Original certificates must be produced at the time of interview.
Application fee
Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (issued only by a Delhi/NCR bank branch) in favour of "PAO-VIII GNCT of Delhi", to be annexed with the application. The fee is non-refundable. No application fee is charged from SC/ST/PH/EWS candidates. The Demand Draft should be issued on or after the date of publication of the advertisement.
