A GDF15 and Tau biomarker study at AIIMS Bhopal needs two hires
AIIMS Bhopal's Department of Biochemistry has advertised a Project Research Scientist-II (PRS II) and a Technician for an IncepBio Pvt. Ltd. funded study titled "Blood and Urine-based Growth Differentiation Factor 15 (GDF15) and Neuronal Tau Assessment for the Evaluation of Metabolic and Psychosocial Stress: A 6-Month Prospective Study with ELISA Confirmation," under Principal Investigator Dr. Rashmi Chowdhary. Applications must reach the email address below by 2 October 2026.
PRS II: a postgraduate or PhD with hands-on molecular biology skills
The PRS II post needs a Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, with three years of post-qualification experience, or a PhD outright. The notice lists desirable hands-on research experience of three years in molecular techniques, tissue culture, PCR and Real-time PCR, along with data analysis, manuscript writing and publication experience, and good knowledge of MS Office. This post pays Rs 67,000 per month consolidated and there is one vacancy.
Technician: three years of ELISA work is the desirable edge
For the Technician post, the notice accepts a three-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject or field, or BMLT, combined with three years of research experience in a research institute, or alternatively a postgraduate degree in the relevant field. Desirably, the candidate should have done ELISA for more than three years, followed Good Laboratory Practice in collecting biological fluid samples, and handled patient consent and data entry, with knowledge of MS Office and Excel. This post pays Rs. 32,000 per month consolidated, also with one vacancy.
Both posts run only till 31 October 2026, extendable on funds
Neither post is a standing appointment. The tenure for both PRS II and Technician ends on 31 October 2026, and the project may be extended for a further six months only if funds permit. The age limit for both is below 35 years as on the last date of application, with SC/ST age relaxation as per rule. There is no application fee for either post.

Shortlisting depends on how many applications arrive
Depending on the number of applications received, candidates will be shortlisted for a written test or skill test, and the date, time and venue will be intimated only to those shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates must bring original certificates for age, qualification and experience, two recent passport-size colour photographs, and self-attested photocopies, or they will not be allowed into the written test. Candidates already in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of the interview. No travelling allowance is paid for attending the test or for joining.
