AAI Manager and Junior Executive Exam Date 2026 Out: CBT on 21 October and 26 October (Advt 12/2026)

Airports Authority of India has released the tentative Computer Based Test (CBT) schedule for Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT, the recruitment of Managers and Junior Executives in various disciplines. The exam notice is dated 23 September 2026. The CBT for these posts is set for 21 October 2026 and 26 October 2026.

Eligibility

Only Indian Nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply. Age, qualification, experience and all other eligibility criteria are reckoned as on 7 September 2026 (cut-off date). Qualification lines for some posts, as printed:

Age limit and relaxations

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. It is relaxable by 10 years for PwBD candidates with permanent disability only where the post is identified suitable for the relevant category of disability. It is relaxable by a maximum of 10 years for candidates who are in regular service of AAI and have completed their probation on initial appointment.

Application fee and exemptions

The application fee is Rs 1,000. SC, ST, PwBD and Women candidates, and Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI, are exempted from payment of fee.

Pay scale and approximate CTC

The approximate CTC is Rs 14 lakhs per annum for Junior Executive and Rs 21 lakhs per annum for Manager. Selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere in India.

The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at the sole discretion of AAI.

How to apply

Candidates had to apply online through the link on www.aai.aero under the "CAREERS" tab. Applications were accepted from 8 August 2026 to 7 September 2026.

Exam pattern

A Computer Based Test (Objective Type) will be conducted for all the posts. There will not be any negative marking for wrong answers.

Admit card

Provisionally eligible candidates will be called for the CBT, and admit cards will be issued to them. Candidates have to regularly visit the AAI website for the link and check their registered e-mail ids (all folders including spam) for details of downloading the admit cards.

At the exam hall

Biometric data of the candidates will be captured at the examination hall.

Selection process and interview after the CBT

The CBT will be followed by Application Verification/ Subsequent Tests (as applicable) for all the posts. Post Codes 1 to 11 will also include Interviews as part of the Selection Process.
