COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2026 Result 2026

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the written result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2026. The notice is dated 19 October 2026. The examination was conducted on 13 September 2026, and 8956 candidates have qualified for the interview.

SSB interview

The 8956 candidates have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The interview is for admission to the Indian Military Academy, the Indian Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, and the Officers Training Academy (SSC Men and SSC Women courses).

Candidates who gave Army (IMA/OTA) as first choice are required to register on the recruiting directorate website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to receive call up information for the SSB interview. Those already registered on the website should not register again.

Provisional candidature and certificates

The candidature of all candidates in the lists is provisional. They are required to submit the original certificates in support of age (Date of Birth), educational qualifications, NCC (C) etc. claimed by them. The certificates go to IHQ of MoD (Army) in case of IMA/SSC first choice candidates, IHQ of MOD (Navy) in case of Navy first choice candidates, and Dte of Personnel (Offrs) in case of Air Force first choice candidates. Candidates must not send any original certificates to the Union Public Service Commission. If the certificates are not submitted by the last date, the candidature will stand cancelled.
