Eligibility

TGT Sanskrit: A four-year integrated degree course of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in Sanskrit with at least 50% marks in aggregate, or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Sanskrit as an elective/main subject in all three years/six semesters and at least 50% marks in aggregate. Also a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent degree from a recognized university, and a pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II conducted by CBSE. Candidates should be proficient in teaching through Hindi and English mediums.

Counsellor: B.A. or B.Sc. (Psychology) from a recognized university, with a Certificate or Diploma in Counselling. Desirable: minimum one year of experience in providing career or educational counselling to students at schools, or working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus, or registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as a Vocational Counsellor.
