Eligibility
Applications are invited from Indian nationals or persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India.
Candidates must possess MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized under the IMC Act or by NMC.
A postgraduate qualification MD or MS or qualifications recognized as equivalent is required for medical disciplines.

Selection process and interview
Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list Candidates for interview.
The interview will be held in Gorakhpur only.
Probation and terms of service
The appointment will be subject to review and probation of two years.
If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else during the probation period of first 02 years of joining, no objection certificate will not be issued.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being declared medically fit by competent Medical Board.
Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
All disputes will be subject to jurisdictions of Court of Law at Gorakhpur.
Contractual engagement of retired faculty
Lumpsum Remuneration for Posts on Contractual Basis is Rs 2,20,000 per month for Professor and Rs 2,00,000 per month for Additional Professor.
The engagement of retired faculty consultant is purely on contract basis for an initial period not exceeding one year which is extendable by another one year or till the attainment of age of 70 years.
