OTET Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
OTET are going to be applicable to all candidates who will possess requisite academic and coaching qualifications with requisite percentage of marks and to all candidates following the final year of the teacher training courses before the date of publication of advertisement for conducting OTET who can aspire to become lecturers for classes I to VIII within the schools of the State Govt., private aided schools and private unaided schools within the State of Odisha.
Category-A (Paper- I):
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/ 2-year diploma in education.
Category-B (Paper-II):
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
Provided that relaxation 50% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, because the case could also be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC class.
